*Free incoming calls in Beijing function fee is $1.00 per month.

*To activate international call function, you need send an request text message when you are in China after you added 200 RMB (approx. USD32.00) on your prepaid account. You need to do it when the balance is above 200 RMB. There is more details (how to send text message) on our user guide.

* In China, an int'l standard direct call is to dial 00 + country code + area code + phone number from your China cellular phone. The rate is $1.25 per minute
Like a standard call but add IP code. The rate is cheaper as indicated above. As an example to call USA fixed number from China, you would dial IP code+ 00 + country code + area code + phone number. More information is in the SIM pack

Period of Validity Its initial period of validity is 90 days. The period of validity can be extended by further credit recharging. For instance, one airtime card credit recharging can extend another 180 days. As long as you continue the recharging, your number will continue to be valid. Toll free number for balance, valid date check and recharge card name will be included in English user guides. Or use:

Activating Your Service:

  • Your cell phone number has been activated and prompts are set in English
  • Be sure that battery is charged
  • Insert the China Mobile SIM card into the cell phone*
  • Turn on your phone
  • You are ready to place a call

*Snap out the SIM chip from the SIM chip holder and insert the chip into your GSM Phone with the metal portion facing down as to make contact with the contact prongs (you will usually find your phone's SIM tray underneath the battery of your GSM cell phone.

Recharging Your SIM Card:

Recharge Card Name: China Mobile Sheng Zhou Xing Recharge card. You can buy this card in the most at kiosks, petrol stations and convenience stores. Access number for recharge: 13800138000. Please verify it on the recharge card. Or, use our online recharge section above.
