How to activate international roaming ?

I bought a Samsung Galaxy phone in shenzhen, and will be going to US for a month. How and where do I have China Mobile activate international roaming?

Will it be another SIM card? Do I use the SIM card only while in US? How do I pay for calls made while in US? (I currently pre-pay and maintain a balance for calls.


Answer:
China Mobile branch should assist you activate international roaming feature on your existing sim card. Please note the balance should be above RMB 50 all the time after the feature is activated. Otherwise, you can not activate the feature again while in USA.
Calls/credit can be topped up online.

Dear Sir/Madam

Number my friend bought in china now he is Pakistan he wants roaming on but now its off, so what is the procedure for roaming or if u can activate from your side please make it on now.

Once the SIM card left China, we are not able to activate roaming.
